My native language is Chinese, and l'm also proficient in English.l use English quite frequently for work and everyday communication, so it becomes a second language for me.

In the future, l'd really like to learn French. l find it to be such an expressive and melodious language, and l believe it would open up doors to connect with French-speaking cultures and communities.

Yeah, it's possible that I may have to learn Japanese because my sister has moved to Japan. She has been granted permanent residency. We are very close, and I plan to visit her often in the future. So, I may take Japanese lessons to enjoy my stay there.

For me, learning a foreign language is like a mix of different things. l take language classes to start strong, talk with native speakers to get better,and use apps and resources to practice a lot. Plus,l gotta soak up the culture connected to the language, that's a must.

At my school, we learn languages mainly in structured classes covering grammar, vocab, and reading. But it's not just in class. We also have language clubs, cultural events, and chances to hangout with international students, which help us use the language and understand different cultures.

5. What kinds of difficulties would you have if you want to learn a new language? 如果你想学习一门新语言，你会遇到什么样的困难?

I think it would be Grammar rules, which are hard to remember especially when the two languages have a huge gap between them.

I think the most difficult part would be pronunciation and grammar. Like, though one same word might be shared by two languages, the pronunciations of them could be totally different. Besides, as a Chinese, acquiring the grammar rules of annother language is always the most fundamental task.
